Success Stories… Provided below are details given by our dedicated and hard working rescue co-ordinator, Mrs. D. Gornall, of the successful re-homing of the 19 dogs rescued by Papillon Rescue UK during the past year. We do not have photos of all of them but their stories are given.
![]() ![]() Was brought to us when another breeder had bought him and found him to be in a terrible state and she had a lot of his teeth removed. The previous owner was contacted and he was subsequently signed to rescue. He is now happily re-homed.
![]() Although Timmie was not a papillon, they came in together and were re-homed together.
![]() Signed to rescue as he was too active for his previous owner. A super happy dog who has been re-homed to an agility home with a dog trainer. Re-named Gizmo - he is having lots of fun with his new 'doggie' family.
![]() A beautiful little young phalene, very, very active, handed over to rescue via another breeder where she was left with no information about her. She has been re-homed to an agility home where she is doing fantastically. Click here to see Honey at her very first agility show.
![]() Signed to rescue when family circumstances meant it was no longer possible for him to stay where he was. Now-homed with 2 other papillons and loves his new home.
![]() Kai and Quickie were taken into rescue due to the illness of their owner. The owner's family felt unable to take them as they had to spend all of their time looking after their mother. They were devastated and would phone regularly asking how they were. Unfortunately or you could say fortunately, the new home where they were due to go to fell through because of illness. The next day Quickie and Kai's family phoned asking if they had been rehomed yet as they were now in a position to be able to look after them. They were returned to the family and were so ecstatic to see them that everyone, including our treasurer Chris who had been fostering them and some of the owner's neighbours, ended up in floods of tears. They are now living out their lives on a farm in Cornwall with a family of dogs and horses.
![]() This 5 year old little girl who came into rescue recently has been re-homed to a home where they are able to continue working on her temperament issues. We are so pleased that this `right home` came along at the right time for her and, hopefully, in time, Phoebe will continue to improve and turn out to be the loving little dog that she could be.

![]() The two elderly paps have been found a wonderful home together. Our rescue co-ordinator was sorry to see them go as they were such a good little pair. But we are sure that they will live out the rest of their life together in a forever home. |
